Manuscript Summary:A copy of the explication by Augustine of the Sermon on the Mount (De sermone domini in monte secundum Matthaeum) together with selections from his Quaestiones evangeliorum, made in the 9th century. Unlike the second part of the manuscript, the copy of the explication of the Sermon on the Mount in the first part was not made at the Abbey of St. Gall. The composite manuscript retains its original Carolingian binding.(smu)
