Manuscript Summary:Transcriptions, prepared by Mauritius Enk (1538-1575) of the Abbey of St. Gall, of lectures about the Holy Scripture (Isagoge in sacram scripturam) presented by the Spanish Jesuit Johannes Marianus (Juan de Mariana, 1536–1624). This text is on pp. 33–269. In addition, the volume contains excerpts from Augustine (pp. 19–21 from letter 28 to Jerome, with an alphabetical index on pp. 1–12; pp. 27–28 from the Confessiones), as well as a short treatise about confession before the Eucharist, Num confessio necessaria sit ante sumptionem Eucharistiae (pp. 270–271, not written by Enk).(sno)

Studienheft von P. Moritz Enk Paris Colleg. Claromont. 1570. Die Jesuiten, welche Wilh. Duprat Bischof von Clermont in Frankreich einführte, wurden erst 1561 und bloss unter dem Namen ‘Väter des Collegium Clermont’ in Paris zugelassen; ihr Professhaus und Schule lag an der Südseite der Strasse S. Antoine neben der Paulskirche (damals Jesuitenkirche) und ist das gegenwärtige Collège Charlemagne.
