Collation: Quires are marked in a later (s. XV) hand: pp. 18-352 = 1 to 22. Quaternios. HFHF (Bruckner)
Condition: Strong, carefully made and smoothed parchment. Flesh side whitish-grey, hair side yellowish with pores (?) and brown spots (?).
Page layout: Single column, 33 lines per page. Written area 237-244 x 181-185 mm. (Bruckner)
Writing and hands: By several careful hands of the Grimald period (841-872), with pronounced insular influence. Black to rust-brown ink. Titles in red rustics, quadrata and uncial. (Bruckner)
Binding: Bound in yellow-brown pressed leather, s. XV. Four frets; only one leather clasp with braided metal ends now exists. Later contents notes: front cover, s. XV, Cassiodorus a psalmo centesimo usque in finem; spine, s. XIX, Cassiodorus a Psalterio 100 usque ad finem.
