| Manuscript Summary: | Manuscript Summary This codex produced at the Abbey of St. Gall, probably in the time of Abbot Grimald (841-872) or Hartmut (872-883) sometime after 850, contains numerous sermons and selections from sermons by Augustine; in addition it contains excerpts from other works written by Augustine, such as the Enarrationes in psalmos, the Tractatus in Iohannis evangelium and the Confessiones. The manuscript retains its original Carolingian binding. |
