Descrizione breve:Dopo Eschilo (I sette contro Tebe) e Sofocle (Edipo re), Euripide a sua volta tentò di riscrivere il mito tebaico. I fogli iniziali di questo manoscritto, copiato alla fine del sec. XV su carta, espongono l’argomento dell’opera teatrale, rievocano l’oracolo di Edipo e l’enigma della Sfinge, poi presentano la lista dei personaggi. Alla trascrizione dell’opera fa seguito un foglio sul quale è trascritto l’argomento dell’(Edipo re), di Sofocle, mettendo così in luce i legami tra i due capolavori del teatro antico.(jos)
